What is included

• Five sheets: Read me, Shift codes, Monthly roster, Example and Daily coverage.
• Change year/month; day and weekday headers follow the calendar, including leap years.
• Five editable shift codes with dropdowns, reference times and app categories.
• Employee code totals, daily coverage and two editable group summaries.
• Frozen employee columns/date headers and landscape print settings.

How to use it

1. Enter the year in Monthly roster B4 and month in D4.
2. Fill employee IDs, names, groups and roles in rows 9–28.
3. Review Shift codes and categories, then select shifts for each day.
4. Review group coverage, unassigned cells and warnings for invalid pasted codes. For a new month, save a copy, clear the old shifts, then change year/month.

Can I import it into DAYROVA?

Yes. In the company administrator’s Excel import panel, choose the quick import option and upload the file. This template is read locally without AI. Review employees and daily codes, then apply the import to save it.

Only Monthly roster is imported. Blank names/IDs or a file containing only the Example data are not automatically imported as employees. Keep the original sheet, row and column structure, and recalculate/save in Excel before uploading.

Before you rely on the file

Blank means unassigned, not off. Gray day columns do not exist in the chosen month and must stay empty. Coverage follows configured codes, names and groups; it does not determine staffing requirements or legal compliance.

Automatic scheduling, payroll, break/work-hour calculations and automatic Google sync are not included. Extending beyond 20 employees requires updating formulas, dropdowns and print ranges; quick import uses the original 20 slots. The file is free; DAYROVA account, invitation and future service terms are separate.
