SHIFT WORK. SIMPLY TOGETHER.

Connect spreadsheet shifts to Google Calendar

Understand the steps and limits of connecting a roster to a dedicated Google Calendar with DAYROVA.

Does changing Excel automatically update Google Calendar?

The free spreadsheet does not automatically connect to Google Calendar. To sync via DAYROVA, save shifts in a company workspace, confirm the linked employee, then separately authorize Google access.

Connection steps

  1. Import the workbook, review month, employees and codes, then save.
  2. In Calendar sync, confirm your linked employee and all-day/timed mode.
  3. Preview, consent, choose your own Google account and approve access.
  4. Check the connection and initial sync, then enable the dedicated DAYROVA calendar in Google Calendar.

Sync scope and expectations

Registered shifts in the current month and the next two months are covered. Edits made in Google do not update DAYROVA. Connected does not mean all events have finished syncing; queued work can be processed in batches.

Each employee authorizes their own connection. Days off, leave and codes without times may be all-day events. Signing out does not disconnect sync; events already created in Google remain after disconnecting.

See whether DAYROVA fits your team

We review your format, team permissions and calendar needs first. DAYROVA is currently an invitation-based pilot. An inquiry does not create a payment or automatic paid conversion.
